$130,000 Bad Beat The Seminole Coconut Creek Casino in South Florida has started to see some extra attention in its poker room. The draw? The bad beat at the casino has extended to over $130,000.
A poker room that is not usually at its capacity has been full for the entire weekend. Once the bad beat gets over $100,000, players usually come from all over the state to try and receive the riches.
In order to hit the bad beat at the Creek casino, a player must have Aces over Jacks or better, and they must be defeated. The bad beat starts small, but much like a lottery, the higher that it gets, the quicker it grows.
"I got here on Friday afternoon and I don't plan on leaving until someone hits the bad beat. Hopefully, I'll be at the table when it happens,' said Georg Driscoll, from Tampa, Florida.
The Coconut Creek Casino is one of the Seminole casinos in South Florida. Their other casino, the Hard Rock in Hollywood, has already made the move to blackjack and baccarat. The Creek casino has installed Vegas style slots, but has yet to add the blackjack and baccarat tables.
