Host of The Real Deal We recently reported on the Venetian Resort, Hotel, and Casino bringing an interactive poker show to their casino in October. They have now revealed that the host of that show will be comedian Paul Rodriguez.

It had already been determined that many of the top poker pros in the world would be involved with the show. Now, the show has added one of the funniest comedians alive to host.

"Paul Rodriguez was a natural choice to be the host of The Real Deal. Funny, charismatic, and engaging, he knows how to connect with an audience and keep them on the edge of their seats. With more than twenty years on the comedy circuit, Paul has a huge fan base and we're very excited to add his level of star power to our already exciting ensemble," said Merv Adelson, the Executive Producer of the show.

That ensemble includes Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, and Jennifer Harmon. Other pros such as Scotty Nguyen, Phil Laak, and Gavin Smith will also be involved in the show.

The Venetian is adding the new poker show to an already diverse list of entertainment. They have Wayne Brady and the Broadway version of Phantom of  The Opera.
